These Terms govern your purchase and use of AuthorDeck, software made by Ideal Days Company Limited ("we", "us"). By buying or using AuthorDeck, you agree to these Terms.
AuthorDeck is sold as a one-time purchase, not a subscription. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use AuthorDeck on up to three (3) of your own devices (any mix of macOS and Windows). You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent, or share your licence key, nor reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to defeat the licence or activation system, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
You own everything you write and create in AuthorDeck. We claim no rights over your content, and — because the app is local-first — your content is generated and stored on your own device, not on our servers.
AuthorDeck uses AI models that run locally to help you write fiction. AI output can be inaccurate, derivative, repetitive, or unexpected, and quality varies with your hardware and inputs. Output is provided "as is". You are responsible for reviewing what you generate, for ensuring you have the right to use it, and for complying with applicable laws. You must not use AuthorDeck to create or distribute unlawful material.
Payments are handled by our third-party payment provider acting as merchant of record, which manages the transaction, invoicing, and any applicable taxes. Prices are as shown at checkout.
Updates within your major version (for example, version 1.x) are included at no extra cost. Future major upgrades or optional add-on packs may be offered as separate paid products. We may modify, add, or discontinue features over time.
Please see our Refund Policy. In short: because a free edition lets you confirm the software runs on your machine before buying, all sales are final except where the law or our payment provider requires otherwise.
AuthorDeck is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will meet your expectations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or relating to AuthorDeck is limited to the amount you paid for your licence. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or content (please keep your own backups).
These Terms apply for as long as you use AuthorDeck. We may suspend or terminate a licence that is used in breach of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you may have where you live.
